Personal Narrative:
Payline is more than a business to me, it is a vehicle of change, empowering so many to have the opportunity to really make a difference in the world we live in. I have been passionate about helping others my entire life. Through the years, I have been involved with many organizations from community youth groups to rebuilding homes for underprivileged families. What I have found that I truly enjoy is giving guidance to others so they can help make a difference themselves. I am so lucky to be able to do that every day with Payline. I am compassionate to all causes but, as a devoted family man, enriching the lives of our youth holds a special place in my heart. I cherish the opportunities I receive every day to help our partners work together for a common goal to enrich the world we live in.
Vice President of Sales Operations
Joe works with many of our new Account Executives to give them guidance and ensure they employ the top quality methods.
Personal Narrative:
My parents helped me begin to explore my “entrepreneurial spirit” at a very early age. I learned how important it is to give back with my first summer business (shining shoes) when I was 8. After weeks of going door to door shining shoes for 25 cents a pair my mother informed me that 10% of my income was to be donated to someone in need. This resulted in a check for $3.50 being sent to The Sister of Notre Dame De NaMur. The good sisters been in my heart ever since.
I first discovered my love of sales and marketing at the age of 13 when I was selling magazine and newspaper subscriptions in the little town of Slidell, LA. The top producers from the entire New Orleans metro area won trips to Disneyworld and Gulf Shores Alabama. For three years I never missed a trip.
Today I am involved in multiple companies. Vice president of a painting company, partners in a property management company, negotiator for a Short-sale negotiation firm and Senior Account Executive for Payline data.
I must say that of all the things I do, the most rewarding is what I do with Payline. Not only are we building a value driven company in the form of credit card processing services that we offer to the business community, we are simultaneously building a much needed consistent revenue stream for charities around the country that never existed before.
Inside Sales Manager
Jake serves all merchant types well and has a focus on small business and financial institutions. He has a great understanding of merchant needs and is great to work with. He is extremely involved in his local community both in the chamber of commerce and non-profit networks.
Personal Narrative:
In Fall ’08 at Illinois State University I helped form a microfinance institution, Ekkekko, which distributed microloans to struggling entrepreneurs in Lima, Peru. We made these loans to all types of individuals with two things in common: 1) Business Driven; 2) Struggling to survive in a third-world country.
Upon graduation I moved to New York City to accept a job as a business analyst for a large corporation. After a full year of working at our office on 42nd and Madison. In January 2010 I moved back to Illinois to find a more rewarding job, ideally in the arena of economic development to help others achieve their American Dream.
Shortly after I made this decision, I learned about Payline Data & Payline Giving, and as they say, “the rest is history.” I have found more happiness in a job than I ever thought imaginable. On a daily basis I get to meet new people, learn about new businesses, and see first hand how much good is being done by Non-Profits across the nation. I feel personally responsible for a portion of the goodwill being built. Any given day I can look at my book of business as a reminder of the goodwill built, and there could not be a more motivating driver to continue doing what I do.
